ECAR - European Cities against Racism
The overall goal of the project is to improve impact and sustainability of local strategies and actions combating racism and xenophobia – through development, exchange and transfer of innovative good practice approaches and a scheme for monitoring for the benefit of local actors across EU.
The project which involves nine administrations and NGOs from Germany (Berlin, also project coordinator), Austria (Graz), Spain (Madrid) and Sweden (Botkyrka, Växjo) intends to
Main target groups are NGO and administration stakeholders, vulnerable groups and the media and population the participating cities to be reached through an analysis paper, a monitoring scheme, different brochures and papers and a European platform on combating racism and xenophobia.
